You must not give any of your children to be sacrificed to Molech, for you must not profane the name of your God. I am the LORD.

Leviticus 19:12
You must not swear falsely by My name and so profane the name of your God. I am the LORD.

"Tell the Israelites, 'Any Israelite or foreigner living in Israel who gives any of his children to Molech must be put to death. The people of the land are to stone him.

And I will set My face against that man and cut him off from his people, because by giving his offspring to Molech, he has defiled My sanctuary and profaned My holy name.

Leviticus 21:6
They must be holy to their God and not profane the name of their God. Because they present to the LORD the offerings made by fire, the food of their God, they must be holy.

Deuteronomy 12:31
You must not worship the LORD your God in this way, because they practice for their gods every abomination which the LORD hates. They even burn their sons and daughters in the fire as sacrifices to their gods.

And I pronounced them unclean through their gifts--the sacrifice of every firstborn in the fire--so that I might devastate them, in order that they would know that I am the LORD.

Ezekiel 36:20
And wherever they went among the nations, they profaned My holy name, because it was said of them, 'These are the people of the LORD, yet they had to leave His land.'

Micah 6:7
Would the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousand rivers of oil? Shall I present my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?

Malachi 1:12
"But you profane it when you say, 'The table of the Lord is defiled, and as for its fruit, its food is contemptible.'
