b. secret displeasure, not openly avowed: πρός τινα, Acts 6:1; in plural χωρίς or ἄνευ γογγυσμῶν without querulous discontent, without murmurings, i. e. with a cheerful and willing mind, Philippians 2:14; 1 Peter 4:9 (where L T Tr WH read the singular).
