a. properly: τί, Matthew 13:44 and L T Tr WH in ; passive, Hebrews 11:23; Revelation 2:17; κρυβῆναι equivalent to to be hid, escape notice, Matthew 5:14; 1 Timothy 5:25; ἐκρύβη (quietly withdrew (cf. Winer's Grammar, § 38, 2 a.)) ἐκρύβη καί ἐξῆλθεν, i. e. departed secretly, John 8:59 (cf.
