Saron), a level region extending from Caesarea of Palestine (Strato's Tower) as far as Joppa (about 30 miles); it abounded in pasturage and was famous for its fertility ( Isaiah 33:9; Isaiah 65:10; 1 Chronicles 27:29): Acts 9:35.
