Hiph`il Imperfect3masculine singular וּמְלָכִים יַרְדְּ Isaiah 41:2 and kings he causeth (him) to dominate; but apocopatic form strange, read יָרֹד (√ רדד q. v.) Ew Di Du; יַחֲרִד ᵐ5 Klo Che.

II. רָדָה verb scrape out (Late Hebrew id., scrape or draw off, out (bread from oven)); —

Qal Perfect3masculine singular הַדְּבָ֑שׁ ׳ר Judges 14:9b out of the carcass he scraped the honey (see GFM); suffix וַיִרְדֵּהוּ אֶלכַֿמָּיו Judges 14:9 a he scraped it out into his palms; Buhl^Lex Du also עַליְֿדֵיהֶם ׳ר Jeremiah 5:31, namely, gifts, money, figurative for making gain (most I. רדה q. v.).
