Wickedness of Men and Lovingkindness of God. For the choir director. A Psalm of David the servant of the LORD. 1Transgression speaks to the ungodly within his heart; There is no fear of God before his eyes.
For it flatters him in his own eyes
The words of his mouth are wickedness and deceit;
He plans wickedness upon his bed;
Your lovingkindness, O LORD, extends to the heavens,
Your righteousness is like the mountains of God;
How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God!
They drink their fill of the abundance of Your house;
For with You is the fountain of life;
O continue Your lovingkindness to those who know You,
Let not the foot of pride come upon me,
There the doers of iniquity have fallen; New American Standard Bible Copyright © 1960, 1962, 1963, 1968, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1975, 1977, 1995 by The Lockman Foundation, La Habra, Calif. All rights reserved. For Permission to Quote Information visit http://www.lockman.org Bible Apps |
