A Psalm of Thanksgiving for Gods Justice. For the choir director; on Muth-labben. A Psalm of David. 1I will give thanks to the LORD with all my heart; I will tell of all Your wonders.
I will be glad and exult in You;
When my enemies turn back,
For You have maintained my just cause;
You have rebuked the nations, You have destroyed the wicked;
The enemy has come to an end in perpetual ruins,
But the LORD abides forever;
And He will judge the world in righteousness;
The LORD also will be a stronghold for the oppressed,
And those who know Your name will put their trust in You,
Sing praises to the LORD, who dwells in Zion;
For He who requires blood remembers them;
Be gracious to me, O LORD;
That I may tell of all Your praises,
The nations have sunk down in the pit which they have made;
The LORD has made Himself known; Higgaion Selah.
The wicked will return to Sheol,
For the needy will not always be forgotten,
Arise, O LORD, do not let man prevail;
Put them in fear, O LORD; Selah. New American Standard Bible Copyright © 1960, 1962, 1963, 1968, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1975, 1977, 1995 by The Lockman Foundation, La Habra, Calif. All rights reserved. For Permission to Quote Information visit http://www.lockman.org Bible Apps |
