BUCKET

buk'-et (deli): The word is found only in Isaiah 40:15 Numbers 24:7, in the latter passage in a figurative use. The ordinary word for water-skin is a different one (no'dh).

Easton's Bible Dictionary

3. (n.) One of the receptacles on the rim of a water wheel into which the water rushes, causing the wheel to revolve; also, a float of a paddle wheel.
