לְכִ֞י וּבֹ֣אִי ׀ אֶל־הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ דָּוִ֗ד וְאָמַ֤רְתְּ אֵלָיו֙ הֲלֹֽא־אַתָּ֞ה אֲדֹנִ֣י הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ נִשְׁבַּ֤עְתָּ לַאֲמָֽתְךָ֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר כִּֽי־שְׁלֹמֹ֤ה בְנֵךְ֙ יִמְלֹ֣ךְ אַחֲרַ֔י וְה֖וּא יֵשֵׁ֣ב עַל־כִּסְאִ֑י וּמַדּ֖וּעַ מָלַ֥ךְ אֲדֹנִיָֽהוּ ׃

לכי ובאי ׀ אל־המלך דוד ואמרת אליו הלא־אתה אדני המלך נשבעת לאמתך לאמר כי־שלמה בנך ימלך אחרי והוא ישב על־כסאי ומדוע מלך אדניהו ׃ Strong's Concordance Holman Christian Standard Bible Go, approach King David and say to him, ‘ My lord the king, did you not swear to your servant: Your son Solomon is to become king after me, and he is the one who is to sit on my throne ?
