וַיִּשְׁלַ֣ח אֲשֶׁר־עַל־הַבַּ֣יִת וַאֲשֶׁ֪ר עַל־הָעִ֟יר וְהַזְּקֵנִים֩ וְהָאֹמְנִ֨ים אֶל־יֵה֤וּא ׀ לֵאמֹר֙ עֲבָדֶ֣יךָ אֲנַ֔חְנוּ וְכֹ֛ל אֲשֶׁר־תֹּאמַ֥ר אֵלֵ֖ינוּ נַעֲשֶׂ֑ה לֹֽא־נַמְלִ֣יךְ אִ֔ישׁ הַטֹּ֥וב בְּעֵינֶ֖יךָ עֲשֵֽׂה׃

וישלח אשר־על־הבית ואשר על־העיר והזקנים והאמנים אל־יהוא ׀ לאמר עבדיך אנחנו וכל אשר־תאמר אלינו נעשה לא־נמליך איש הטוב בעיניך עשה׃ Strong's Concordance Holman Christian Standard Bible So the overseer of the palace, the overseer of the city, the elders, and the guardians sent a message to Jehu: “ We are your servants, and we will do whatever you tell us. We will not make anyone king. Do whatever you think is right .”
New American Standard Bible And the one who [was] over the household, and he who [was] over the city, the elders, and the guardians of [the children], sent [word] to Jehu, saying, "We are your servants, all that you say to us we will do, we will not make any man king; do what is good in your sight."
King James Bible And he that [was] over the house, and he that [was] over the city, the elders also, and the bringers up [of the children], sent to Jehu, saying, We [are] thy servants, and will do all that thou shalt bid us; we will not make any king: do thou [that which is] good in thine eyes. |
