וַיֵּלֶךְ֩ רֹכֵ֨ב הַסּ֜וּס לִקְרָאתֹ֗ו וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ כֹּֽה־אָמַ֤ר הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ הֲשָׁלֹ֔ום וַיֹּ֧אמֶר יֵה֛וּא מַה־לְּךָ֥ וּלְשָׁלֹ֖ום סֹ֣ב אֶֽל־אַחֲרָ֑י וַיַּגֵּ֤ד הַצֹּפֶה֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר בָּֽא־הַמַּלְאָ֥ךְ עַד־הֵ֖ם וְלֹֽא־שָֽׁב׃

So a horseman went to meet Jehu and said, “ This is what the king asks: ‘ Do you come in peace ? ’ ” Jehu replied, “ What do you have to do with peace? Fall in behind me.” The watchman reported, “ The messenger reached them but hasn’t started back.”

So a horseman went to meet him and said, "Thus says the king, Is it peace?" And Jehu said, "What have you to do with peace? Turn behind me." And the watchman reported, "The messenger came to them, but he did not return."
