וַיִּשְׁלַ֣ח תֹּ֣עִי אֶת־יֹֽורָם־בְּנֹ֣ו אֶל־הַמֶּֽלֶךְ־דָּ֠וִד לִשְׁאָל־לֹ֨ו לְשָׁלֹ֜ום וּֽלְבָרֲכֹ֗ו עַל֩ אֲשֶׁ֨ר נִלְחַ֤ם בַּהֲדַדְעֶ֙זֶר֙ וַיַּכֵּ֔הוּ כִּי־אִ֛ישׁ מִלְחֲמֹ֥ות תֹּ֖עִי הָיָ֣ה הֲדַדְעָ֑זֶר וּבְיָדֹ֗ו הָי֛וּ כְּלֵֽי־כֶ֥סֶף וּכְלֵֽי־זָהָ֖ב וּכְלֵ֥י נְחֹֽשֶׁת׃

וישלח תעי את־יורם־בנו אל־המלך־דוד לשאל־לו לשלום ולברכו על אשר נלחם בהדדעזר ויכהו כי־איש מלחמות תעי היה הדדעזר ובידו היו כלי־כסף וכלי־זהב וכלי נחשת׃ Strong's Concordance Holman Christian Standard Bible he sent his son Joram to King David to greet him and to congratulate him because David had fought against Hadadezer and defeated him, for Toi and Hadadezer had fought many wars. Joram had items of silver, gold, and bronze with him.
New American Standard Bible Toi sent Joram his son to King David to greet him and bless him, because he had fought against Hadadezer and defeated him; for Hadadezer had been at war with Toi. And [Joram] brought with him articles of silver, of gold and of bronze.
