וַיָּ֣רָץ דָּ֠וִד וַיַּעֲמֹ֨ד אֶל־הַפְּלִשְׁתִּ֜י וַיִּקַּ֣ח אֶת־חַ֠רְבֹּו וַֽיִּשְׁלְפָ֤הּ מִתַּעְרָהּ֙ וַיְמֹ֣תְתֵ֔הוּ וַיִּכְרָת־בָּ֖הּ אֶת־רֹאשֹׁ֑ו וַיִּרְא֧וּ הַפְּלִשְׁתִּ֛ים כִּֽי־מֵ֥ת גִּבֹּורָ֖ם וַיָּנֻֽסוּ׃

וירץ דוד ויעמד אל־הפלשתי ויקח את־חרבו וישלפה מתערה וימתתהו ויכרת־בה את־ראשו ויראו הפלשתים כי־מת גבורם וינסו׃ Strong's Concordance Holman Christian Standard Bible David ran and stood over him.
