כֹּ֚ה אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֔ה עַל־שְׁלֹשָׁה֙ פִּשְׁעֵ֣י אֱדֹ֔ום וְעַל־אַרְבָּעָ֖ה לֹ֣א אֲשִׁיבֶ֑נּוּ עַל־רָדְפֹ֨ו בַחֶ֤רֶב אָחִיו֙ וְשִׁחֵ֣ת רַחֲמָ֔יו וַיִּטְרֹ֤ף לָעַד֙ אַפֹּ֔ו וְעֶבְרָתֹ֖ו שְׁמָ֥רָה נֶֽצַח׃

כה אמר יהוה על־שלשה פשעי אדום ועל־ארבעה לא אשיבנו על־רדפו בחרב אחיו ושחת רחמיו ויטרף לעד אפו ועברתו שמרה נצח׃ Strong's Concordance Holman Christian Standard Bible The LORD says: I will not relent from punishing Edom for three crimes, even four, because he pursued his brother with the sword. He stifled his compassion, his anger tore at them continually , and he harbored his rage incessantly.
New American Standard Bible Thus says the LORD, "For three transgressions of Edom and for four I will not revoke its [punishment], Because he pursued his brother with the sword, While he stifled his compassion; His anger also tore continually, And he maintained his fury forever.
King James Bible Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Edom, and for four, I will not turn away [the punishment] thereof; because he did pursue his brother with the sword, and did cast off all pity, and his anger did tear perpetually, and he kept his wrath for ever: |
