וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלָ֗יו עֹבְרִ֨ים אֲנַ֜חְנוּ מִבֵּֽית־לֶ֣חֶם יְהוּדָה֮ עַד־יַרְכְּתֵ֣י הַר־אֶפְרַיִם֒ מִשָּׁ֣ם אָנֹ֔כִי וָאֵלֵ֕ךְ עַד־בֵּ֥ית לֶ֖חֶם יְהוּדָ֑ה וְאֶת־בֵּ֤ית יְהוָה֙ אֲנִ֣י הֹלֵ֔ךְ וְאֵ֣ין אִ֔ישׁ מְאַסֵּ֥ף אֹותִ֖י הַבָּֽיְתָה׃

ויאמר אליו עברים אנחנו מבית־לחם יהודה עד־ירכתי הר־אפרים משם אנכי ואלך עד־בית לחם יהודה ואת־בית יהוה אני הלך ואין איש מאסף אותי הביתה׃ Strong's Concordance Holman Christian Standard Bible He answered him, “ We’re traveling from Bethlehem in Judah to the remote hill country of Ephraim, where I am from. New American Standard Bible He said to him, "We are passing from Bethlehem in Judah to the remote part of the hill country of Ephraim, [for] I am from there, and I went to Bethlehem in Judah. But I am [now] going to my house, and no man will take me into his house.
