וַ֠יָּבֹאוּ שְׁנֵ֨י הָאֲנָשִׁ֥ים בְּנֵֽי־בְלִיַּעַל֮ וַיֵּשְׁב֣וּ נֶגְדֹּו֒ וַיְעִדֻהוּ֩ אַנְשֵׁ֨י הַבְּלִיַּ֜עַל אֶת־נָבֹ֗ות נֶ֤גֶד הָעָם֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר בֵּרַ֥ךְ נָבֹ֛ות אֱלֹהִ֖ים וָמֶ֑לֶךְ וַיֹּצִאֻ֙הוּ֙ מִח֣וּץ לָעִ֔יר וַיִּסְקְלֻ֥הוּ בָאֲבָנִ֖ים וַיָּמֹֽת׃

ויבאו שני האנשים בני־בליעל וישבו נגדו ויעדהו אנשי הבליעל את־נבות נגד העם לאמר ברך נבות אלהים ומלך ויצאהו מחוץ לעיר ויסקלהו באבנים וימת׃ Strong's Concordance Holman Christian Standard Bible The two wicked men came in and sat opposite him. Then the wicked men testified against Naboth in the presence of the people, saying, “ Naboth has cursed God and the king ! ” So they took him outside the city and stoned him to death with stones.
New American Standard Bible Then the two worthless men came in and sat before him; and the worthless men testified against him, even against Naboth, before the people, saying, "Naboth cursed God and the king." So they took him outside the city and stoned him to death with stones.
King James Bible And there came in two men, children of Belial, and sat before him: and the men of Belial witnessed against him, [even] against Naboth, in the presence of the people, saying, Naboth did blaspheme God and the king. Then they carried him forth out of the city, and stoned him with stones, that he died. |
