וַיֵּ֨לֶךְ הַמֶּ֤לֶךְ וַֽאֲנָשָׁיו֙ יְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם אֶל־הַיְבֻסִ֖י יֹושֵׁ֣ב הָאָ֑רֶץ וַיֹּ֨אמֶר לְדָוִ֤ד לֵאמֹר֙ לֹא־תָבֹ֣וא הֵ֔נָּה כִּ֣י אִם־הֱסִֽירְךָ֗ הַעִוְרִ֤ים וְהַפִּסְחִים֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר לֹֽא־יָבֹ֥וא דָוִ֖ד הֵֽנָּה׃

וילך המלך ואנשיו ירושלם אל־היבסי יושב הארץ ויאמר לדוד לאמר לא־תבוא הנה כי אם־הסירך העורים והפסחים לאמר לא־יבוא דוד הנה׃ Strong's Concordance Holman Christian Standard Bible The king and his men marched to Jerusalem against the Jebusites who inhabited the land. The Jebusites had said to David: “ You will never get in here. Even the blind and lame can repel you ”; thinking, “ David can’t get in here.”
New American Standard Bible Now the king and his men went to Jerusalem against the Jebusites, the inhabitants of the land, and they said to David, "You shall not come in here, but the blind and lame will turn you [-] away"; thinking, "David cannot enter here."
