ויאמר המלך מה־לי ולכם בני צריה [כי כ] (כה ק) יקלל [וכי כ] (כי ק) יהוה אמר לו קלל את־דוד ומי יאמר מדוע עשיתה כן׃ ס Strong's Concordance Holman Christian Standard Bible The king replied, “ Sons of Zeruiah, do we agree on anything? He curses me this way because the LORD told him, ‘ Curse David! ’ Therefore, who can say, ‘ Why did you do that? ’ ”
New American Standard Bible But the king said, "What have I to do with you, O sons of Zeruiah? If he curses, and if the LORD has told him, Curse David, then who shall say, Why have you done so?"
