וַיֹּאמֶר֩ אֵלִיָּ֨הוּ הַתִּשְׁבִּ֜י מִתֹּשָׁבֵ֣י גִלְעָד֮ אֶל־אַחְאָב֒ חַי־יְהוָ֞ה אֱלֹהֵ֤י יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָמַ֣דְתִּי לְפָנָ֔יו אִם־יִהְיֶ֛ה הַשָּׁנִ֥ים הָאֵ֖לֶּה טַ֣ל וּמָטָ֑ר כִּ֖י אִם־לְפִ֥י דְבָרִֽי׃ ס

ויאמר אליהו התשבי מתשבי גלעד אל־אחאב חי־יהוה אלהי ישראל אשר עמדתי לפניו אם־יהיה השנים האלה טל ומטר כי אם־לפי דברי׃ ס Strong's Concordance Holman Christian Standard Bible Now Elijah the Tishbite, from the Gilead settlers, said to Ahab, “ As the LORD God of Israel lives, I stand before Him, and there will be no dew or rain during these years except by my command ! ”
New American Standard Bible Now Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the settlers of Gilead, said to Ahab, "As the LORD, the God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, surely there shall be neither dew nor rain these years, except by my word."
