וַֽיְרַקְּע֞וּ אֶת־פַּחֵ֣י הַזָּהָב֮ וְקִצֵּ֣ץ פְּתִילִם֒ לַעֲשֹׂ֗ות בְּתֹ֤וךְ הַתְּכֵ֙לֶת֙ וּבְתֹ֣וךְ הָֽאַרְגָּמָ֔ן וּבְתֹ֛וךְ תֹּולַ֥עַת הַשָּׁנִ֖י וּבְתֹ֣וךְ הַשֵּׁ֑שׁ מַעֲשֵׂ֖ה חֹשֵֽׁב׃

They hammered out thin sheets of gold, and he cut threads from them to interweave with the blue, purple, and scarlet yarn , and the fine linen in a skillful design .

Then they hammered out gold sheets and cut [them] into threads to be woven in [with] the blue and the purple and the scarlet [material], and the fine linen, the work of a skillful workman.
