וַאֲמַרְתֶּ֗ם אַנְשֵׁ֨י מִקְנֶ֜ה הָי֤וּ עֲבָדֶ֙יךָ֙ מִנְּעוּרֵ֣ינוּ וְעַד־עַ֔תָּה גַּם־אֲנַ֖חְנוּ גַּם־אֲבֹתֵ֑ינוּ בַּעֲב֗וּר תֵּשְׁבוּ֙ בְּאֶ֣רֶץ גֹּ֔שֶׁן כִּֽי־תֹועֲבַ֥ת מִצְרַ֖יִם כָּל־רֹ֥עֵה צֹֽאן׃

ואמרתם אנשי מקנה היו עבדיך מנעורינו ועד־עתה גם־אנחנו גם־אבתינו בעבור תשבו בארץ גשן כי־תועבת מצרים כל־רעה צאן׃ Strong's Concordance Holman Christian Standard Bible you are to say, ‘ Your servants, both we and our fathers, have raised livestock from our youth until now .’ Then you will be allowed to settle in the land of Goshen, since all shepherds are abhorrent to Egyptians.”
New American Standard Bible you shall say, Your servants have been keepers of livestock from our youth even until now, both we and our fathers, that you may live in the land of Goshen; for every shepherd is loathsome to the Egyptians."
